The Johnson, an Art Series Hotel is now open in Spring Hill, Brisbane.
Adorned with Michael Johnson's original abstract paintings and giclee prints, The Johnson boasts a 50m pool designed by Olympic swimming champion, Michael Klim, with expansive sundeck for soaking up the sun, as well as Tumbling Stone Restaurant & Bar, 83 spacious suites and luxurious penthouses with spectacular city and parkland views.
Guests are invited to get up close and personal with Johnson's hypnotic trademark horizontal layered bars and heavily textured abstract works that have led to him being exhibited both nationally and internationally, for over 40 years.
This is the seventh Art Series hotel to open, it has all the Art Series signature comforts, including in-room art libraries, a dedicated art channel, hotel art tours and art utensils to bring out the inner artist in every guest.
