Newport Arms Hotel joins Merivale's growing portfolio of iconic Sydney venues
Merivale has announced that the Newport Arms Hotel has joined its growing
hospitality portfolio.
Nestled on the idyllic shores of Pittwater on Sydney's Northern Beaches, the landmark property is an exciting addition to the group's burgeoning range of hotels, bars and restaurants across Sydney.
Justin Hemmes, CEO of Merivale, said: "The Newport Arms is undoubtedly one of Australia's most iconic pubs. It is a spectacular property in a beautiful location and holds a very special place in the hearts of locals. Assets as unique as the Newport Arms deserve to be celebrated; we cannot wait to join the community".
The acquisition follows the outstanding success of the newly converted Coogee Pavilion. Since launching in July 2014, the multi-themed beachside venue has been embraced by the Eastern Suburbs, celebrated as a vibrant lifestyle destination that caters to a broad range of tastes, budgets and occasions.
Merivale will officially take possession of the property in May 2015.
