Mercure Sydney Hotel
Mercure Sydney unveils new look as Central Precinct Upgrades.
Conference centre boasts stylish "Modern French" design.
Sydney's Central/Broadway area is undergoing a massive urban renewal programme, with new residential, commercial and educational buildings transforming the precinct, and in keeping with the renaissance, the area's most prominent hotel, Mercure Sydney Central, has unveiled an exciting multi-million dollar re-vamp.
The four-star, George Street-located hotel has completed the final stages of a major renovation, with each of the hotel's 517 rooms revealing a bright, contemporary new look, re-stating its place as the precinct's premier mid-market choice for business and leisure travellers and conference groups.
Accommodation rooms have adopted a fresh approach to styling, and feature a warm colour palette of purple and grey interiors with dark marble bench tops, creating a relaxed, yet contemporary look.
The sleek new rooms also feature new-look bathroom suites, including chic mirrors, glass shower screens, new basin fixtures and tiling, providing a dramatic face lift and energising the room's vibe.
To complement the new look rooms Mercure's conference space has undergone an extensive renovation over the January period, with a "Modern French" image providing an edgy and innovative look. The large balcony area - which overlooks Railway Square - has also been upgraded, making it an ideal venue for stylish alfresco group dinners, breakout sessions and cocktail functions.
To celebrate the opening of the new conference facilities we have launched our new conference offering 'Meet and Sleep.' This offer starts from $239 per day including full day conference package including wireless internet and accommodation per person
Located in the south of Sydney's CBD, by Railway Square, the hotel boasts one of the city's most convenient locations, and is within easy walking distance of the city centre, Chinatown, Central Station, Capitol Theatre, and Darling Harbour. Rooms are newly renovated in a contemporary style and include flat screen LCD televisions and the benefit of 24 hour room service. Four Elements Restaurant and Bar, located on the 1st floor, is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, providing a wide range of delicious Australian and international cuisine.
A highlight of the stylish hotel is the undercover rooftop swimming pool, sauna and gym, offering views of the city skyline, plus a variety of bar and restaurants for guests to explore.
