dealers that will get to enjoy what Las Vegas has to offer.
We hope you enjoy your Las Vegas experience from 16th to the 20th of May
2011. Below we have outlined the basic information regarding the 2011 Honda
Power Equipment Dealer Las Vegas Incentive Trip, without providing too much
information - it's more fun that way!
We request that you take special note of the meeting and transfer times
outlined below and ask that you please respect these timing's.
You will be joined by Conference Resources, at various stages during this
trip who will assist in activities included and optional activities for
your free time.
Please make your own arrangements for your departure from the airport and
check in at least 3 hours prior to departure. Please also ensure that you
have a current US Visa.
Please also understand that due to lack of availability of accommodation
and child minding services, children will not be able to attend this Dealer
Incentive Trip.

Hotel Accommodation - Luxor Las Vegas:

Located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The 30-story hotel,
which is operated by MGM Resorts International, features an 11,000 m2
casino floor that includes over 2,000 slot machines and 87 table games.
It has a new, highly modernized and contemporary design and contains a
total of 4,408 rooms, including 442 suites, lining the interior walls of a
pyramid style tower and within twin 22-story ziggurat towers that were
built as later additions.
Luxor Las Vegas includes 1,900 m2 of convention space, four swimming pools
and whirlpools, a wedding chapel, Nurture Spa and Salon and 29 retail
stores
The hotel is named after the city of Luxor (ancient Thebes) in Egypt.
Luxor is the fourth largest hotel in Las Vegas (the largest being the MGM
Grand) and the sixth largest in the world (as of 2010), the Luxor has a 4
Key rating from the Green Key Eco-Rating Program, which evaluates
sustainable hotel operations.
US Visa Requirement:
It is compulsory that you have a USA Entry Visa. If you do not have this you will not be able to enter the United States. Please apply at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/ and print off the Visa and bring with your ticket on departure day.
Travel Insurance:

Transfers
Transfers have been organised to and from the Las Vegas Airport on the 16th and 20th May, if you are arriving on an earlier date or departing on a later date you will need to organise your own transfers.
Pre and Post Accommodation:
Longer stays both pre and post conference can be booked direct with Conference Resources. The Luxor Hotel Las Vegas will honour the same accommodation rates pre and post the actual dates of this event.
Individual Expenses:
All incidental room charges such as phone calls, mini bar, movies, and room service, plus individual bar charges are to be settled by the guest on checkout.
Flights:
These have been organised for you already with Qantas Airways.
Your e-ticket will be forwarded to you directly by DBT one week prior
to departure. Flights times may vary - please check your e-ticket.
Please note you must be at the airport 3 hrs before your flight.
If you require any amendments to your flights as in departing prior or post the above dates, a fee of $100 per person per amendment will apply (subject to the same fare booking class being available), however additional charges may also apply.

Weather:
It will be late Autumn when you in Las Vegas so please wear comfortable
loose fitting clothing during the day. As Las Vegas is in a desert
please expect that the nights will be coolish and you should take an
additional layer of clothing.
All hotel venues are air conditioned so you may require a jacket,
cardigan, throw etc.
Responsible Gambling:
Honda MPE and Conference Resources share an ongoing commitment to responsible gambling and the highest levels of customer care. Whilst we want you to have fun and enjoy yourself in Las Vegas, please note that gambling can be a serious problem for some people. Also gambling and alcohol do not mix and neither Honda MPE and Conference Resources take responsibility for your actions.
Tipping in Las Vegas:
Honda have included tips for all organised activities including
porterage at the Luxor Hotel, transfers, organised meals and shows.
However outside this it is customary that you tip 18-21% on top of any
service that you receive.
Personal Safety:
You should always carry some form of Identification.
Whilst Las Vegas is a safe city, you are travelling away from home and
therefore you should exercise some caution. Always keep your Passport
and personal belongings in a safe and secure spot.

There are plenty of activities for you to experience whilst in Las
